I had to set the camera aside for a moment.
Sometimes, when in presence of something wonderful, like a beautiful landscape, an amazing sunset or an incredible performance, you just have to set the camera aside and just take it all in. That’s exactly what happened to me last night.
What started as a regular editorial assignment turned out to be an incredible musical experience.
I was asked by the Miami DDA (Downtown Development Authority) to cover a performance by an upcoming artist at the new Downtown Concert Series. The artist name, Laura Izibor. And when I say artist, I mean it!
What an incredible performer, singer and song writer! This is what Soul music is all about.
